BIOGRAPHY
Uzm. Dr. Burcu Meryem Atak Sançmış completed her medical education at the Faculty of Medicine, T.C. Maltepe University, which she began in 2006. She completed her residency and subspecialty fellowships at leading universities and hospitals in Turkey. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Süleyman Demirel University, from 2012 to 2016 and worked as an Internal Medicine Specialist at Yalvaç State Hospital from 2016 to 2018. Uzm. Dr. Atak Sançmış completed her fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at the Faculty of Medicine, Akdeniz University, from 2018 to 2023 and continues her academic and clinical studies in the field of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases. From 2023 to 2024, she worked at Elbistan State Hospital and since 2024.
Between 2024 and November 2025, she served as a Specialist in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at Antalya Kepez State Hospital.
As of December 2025, she has begun seeing patients at her own private clinic, where she provides individualized diagnosis and treatment services based on up-to-date scientific approaches in her field.
