  • Reducing gluten consumption may be beneficial for autoimmune diseases. However, if there is no diagnosed gluten intolerance, we do not recommend a corresponding diet.
  • Avoiding sugar and processed foods can help reduce inflammation.
  • Regular exercise supports metabolism and aids in weight management.
  • Stress management can help balance the autoimmune reaction, the immune system’s attack on the body.

Are There Complications with Hashimoto's Disease?

If left untreated, Hashimoto’s disease can lead to the following complications:

  • Hypothyroidism (Underactive Thyroid): A chronic condition that develops due to a deficiency in thyroid hormones.
